First post
Ah, to start a new blog.
Why am I starting this? I already have a perfectly serviceable one on MySpace, which a number of people seem to be reading, and I don't even know all that many people on LiveJournal.
Well, mainly I am starting it because if Rob is obliging me by writing in his blog to give me stuff to do (reading it) while I am at the Help Desk, I feel obligated to have the ability to comment on his blog, which means I need an account on LiveJournal. And, if I am going to have an account on LiveJournal, I might as well actually post in this blog.
It's going to be interesting to see how this goes. Throughout my life, I have been notoriously bad at keeping journals, and always wrote in them for a few weeks at most before I completely gave up. I've been posting on MySpace for several months now, which is a minor miracle; I attribute it mainly to the fact that I know my friend Jamie reads my blog, and she comments a lot, and so it gives me a reason to feel like continuing.
We shall see what happens with the LiveJournal blog. Or, this blog. Maybe I should just copy and paste whatever I put in my MySpace blog, because I know that's certainly a lot of random crap. We'll see.
